All of our Workshop leaders are fully qualified, hold a full DBS, are First Aid Trained and hold a Public Liability Insurance Certificate. One of our leaders is also a Fire Marshall.
RACHEL THOMAS
Rachel Thomas is a Professional Singer/Songwriter and Actress from Watford, Hertfordshire. She Trained at Masters Performing Arts College studying Musical Theatre and has since branched out in the industry in many directions. She has released her debut EP 'Find Your Way' which is available on iTunes and Spotify. She also runs her own company 'Black Rose Productions Ltd' entertaining with 'The Finest Singing and Dancing Waiters' for all occasions. Her Acting Career has taken her onto Eastenders and Him and Her Series 4 also filming Short Films and lots of Extra work which has lead into some modelling jobs. Growing Up Rachel always loved to perform from the age of 3 when she started Ballet. She was in 'Joseph and his amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' in the West End, Drury Lane and performed in several pantomimes from a young age. Whilst still performing Rachel also teaches Singing and Songwriting at West Herts College, Private Singing Lessons, Drama, Ballet and runs her own Adult Tap classes. She loves to pass on her knowledge to new children and Adults teaching an age range of 4-70 and is very proud of their progression and their achievments.
HOLLY PENNY
Since Graduating Holly has joined the Olivier Award Winning Hip Hop Company "Boy Blue Entertainment". She has a wide range of performance experience, from working on events such as The Olympic opening ceremonies, Television Programmes, including the Jonathan Ross Show along side Rita Ora, The Sugar Babes and more. As well as performing Holly is a very passionate teacher working in dance schools and colleges across London. For the last 5 years she has worked with students of all ages in various styles of Dance.
Lara mccabe
Lara started her dance training at Margaret Howard Theatre Schools at the age of 3. She then went on to complete her DDI teaching qualifications and gain a national diploma in Musical Theatre at Margaret Howard Theatre College. Since graduating Lara has joined the well known Hip Hop Company Boy Blue Entertainment. Lara has performed in the Olympic Closing Ceremonies, in Thoroughly Modern Millie as Mille, alongside The Sugar Babes, on BGMT, at the Barbican Theatre in A Night With Boy Blue, the Breakin' Convention at Sadlers Wells and more. Lara's passion for performing and teaching go hand in hand and her key focus is to support and nurture young people in the arts. Lara has been working with young children for 8years now in many lines of work not just dance teaching. She is a teacher at he well established aviv dance school teaching weekly classes and creating pieces for performances. She is also the Urban teacher of west herts college Dance BTEC course. Lara’s love of teaching is clear in her work and she takes great pride in helping young learners develop.
